Are you getting tired of building a proper render environment in TouchDesigner? Wish you could have those sexy reflections, transparency, and global illumination right out of the box? As our industry continues to move away from a traditional rendering pipeline for content creation, we must consider what real-time peripherals can enhance your toolkit. Unreal Engine offers TouchDesigner users the ability to harness videogame quality rendering, while staying in the software we all love.
This class will teach you the basics of how to control Unreal scenes using common communication protocols. We will explore ways to create interactive environments, build a simple camera changer operated from TouchDesigner, and get a general view of how Unreal works. By the end of the course you will be able to interact with your own worlds and control their environments created in one of the most talked about rendering platforms today. Get ready to take your projects to another level!
