About this Course

Touchdesigner is a powerful tool to create interactive media performances and installations. However, some popular rendering techniques like volumetric lights have been impossible to achieve out of the box.
And that hasn’t changed. Lucas Morgan, creator of the Touchdesigner-based Lighting Software GeoPix has spend countless hours to develop a pretty straightforward method to create beautiful volume lights with custom GLSL code – and he is ready to share with you.

In this course you will learn how to create a custom lighting system on top of TouchDesigner spotlights and use atmospheric volumetric lights in you renders.

If you are completely new to shader programming in GLSL, you may want to take a look at this introduction course by VanTa: GLSL Shader in TouchDesigner
