The NODE Gallery Night
presented by The NODE Institute & Studio1111
In collaboration with Studio1111, we showcase the work of Robert Seidel, who has dedicated more than 20 uncompromising years to digital and abstract film making, pushing the boundaries of the unseen. In a retrospective timeline, moderated by the NODE’s Harshini Karunaratne in dialogue with the artist, we dive into selected milestones of Roberts creative universe, working towards the present and seeking the conversation with the artist and the community.
Following this exploration, we invite the audience to join us for an experimental audiovisual experience, brought to live by the genre defining OVAL project, spearheaded by Markus Popp and embedded in a visual remix performance by MXZEHN’s Stefan Kraus that expands Roberts visual material into a space and time bending trip.
Although, this evening is dedicated to the celebration of art, the NODE Institute and Studio1111 stay true to their commune mission to create an open and welcoming environment for the creative scene, that ultimately aims to open up new oppertunies and foster the alliance of creators in a increasingly hostile world.
