In this module, Ploypapus Phosri, aka Ployz, a Berlin based multimedia designer with a background in motion and 3D design, will introduce participants to the acquisition, processing and audio-reactive animation of point clouds, with a special focus on creating beautifully designed video snippets for contemporary social media platforms.
In the process, Ployz will outline a workflow that she employs herself demonstrating how she iterates through different parameters of a specific technique to generate a diverse aesthetic outcome, while providing insight into her design process that combines technical exploration with aesthetic choices.
One of the most important tools to make clients as well as audiences aware of your work is regular posting on social media. It helps to communicate your artistic vision and advertise yourself as a creative. Consequently, this module will envision publishing to social media as a relevant target for the publication of experimental media art.
Requirements
This module is made for participants, who have a basic understanding of TouchDesigner, but do not need any experience with shader languages. If you just getting started, please visit our Beginners Course first.
- A recent PC or MAC Computer (discrete GPU recommended) with stable internet connection

About the Instructor
Ployz is Ploypapus Phosri, a Thai multimedia artist, living and working in Berlin.Her artistic vision is multifaceted, encompassing the mediums of motion graphic design, 2D-3D animation, generative design, and audiovisual art. Ployz has a keen interest in the realm of real-time visualisation, where art and science intersect, as well as the fusion of analog and digital techniques.
Since 2007, she has been delving into the possibilities of digital media and honing her skills in computer-generated imagery, motion design, and interactive computer graphics. Her unique perspective as an artist is greatly influenced by her Eastern hemisphere background, which is reflected in many of her works. Ployz is devoted to exploring the nexus of art and technology through her digital media projects, creating work that is both visually captivating and thought-provoking, continuously pushing the boundaries of what is possible in this field. Ployz works internationally and has collaborated with professionals from various countries around the world.
