Have you experienced any blocks in creativity? After countless hours of tutorials, you have extravagant networks to show as proof, but are stuck on expanding the visuals or developing your own? How do you find your own creative voice in TouchDesigner?

In this course with artist and designer Pao Olea, we will harness the power of TouchDesigner to bring your ideas to life. Throughout this course, you will delve into the various stages of design creation, starting with conceptualization, where you’ll learn the importance of developing a clear vision for your projects. From there, we’ll explore composition techniques, guiding you on how to arrange elements effectively to maximize visual impact.

Colour theory will also be a key focus as we investigate the psychology behind colour choices and how to use them to evoke emotions in your designs.

In the second half of the course, Pao will share her workflow methods and how she built countless visuals all stemming and adapting from one patch.

The main idea of the course is to provide the necessary tools to make the visual creation process simple and effective. Complex networks are not required for this; rather how a comprehension of design fundamentals such as colour and composition can achieve so much. In addition to the ability to iterate and experiment within the same network, different results are obtained, thus creating a series of attractive visuals with finesse.
