About this Course
We all love TouchDesigner for the creative mess it allows us to create. Everything connects to everything and it’s easy to experiment in unforseen ways. However, for every TouchDesigneur comes the moment, where she/he wants to tame the creative chaos and get ready to perform a show on a big stage, and suddenly one exiting patch is not enough.
Or you have to make sure that this beautiful, yet fragile interactive masterpiece of yours is working every day of the week from seven in the morning until eight at night.
Stefan Kraus will guide you through this course and explain how to setup up projects in an optimised and reliable way. With a few simple tricks, you avoid frame drops, crashes, jittery video playback and many other traps that can make show creation in a real time environment challenging.
Sequence live or automated shows and installations flawless and orchestrate lights, projections and sound without hick ups and shameful moments of reboot. Get a rundown on best practices and working TouchDesigner example patches for every step along the way. Get you art ready for the big stage or the daily grind of the museum in now time and without the pain.
This course builds on a basic understanding of the software as provided by our free introduction here. Better yet you have already experienced the above described calamities and are ready for betterment : )
