If you would like to prior to the workshop, you may download and install ComfyUI and the models I will be using, but this is not required for the workshop.

Installing:

Option 1 > Portable ComfyUI Windows Package

There is a portable install you can download for windows with ‘Direct Link to Download’ button here:

This is the most straightforward way and includes the python environment in the zipped package.
Download and extract with 7-Zip as detailed in the instructions on the github. 

Note: Best to be on a fast ssd and close to root drive, since file paths can get long.

Option 2 > TouchDesigner operator built in.

ALternatively you can use my operator’s built in installer, which I will very briefly cover
(also only windows install).

The operator will be provided during the workshop.
Both the portable install and operator install will be fully functional when using the operator.

Option 3 > Advanced / manual install

There is also the option to git clone the repo and setup your own python environment. 

In order to use the Launch pulse in the TD operator to open ComfyUI from TouchDesigner, the python environment should be inside the ComfyUI folder or inside the parent folder of the ComfyUI folder (which would be the same as the op install).
