The schedule is not set in stone and may change spontaneously.
Doors open at 19.30 Uhr / 7.30 PM
Adam Berg, previously Director of Engineering at the award-winning design studio Leviathan, is an artist and freelance technical director with over a decade of experience in developing monumental interactive installations. Visual artists, educational and non-profit organizations, major music acts, and landmark entertainment venues have trusted him to imagine and invent software tools and architect hardware infrastructure to realize their work. In his presentation Adam is going to show a selection of projects and some interesting technical details, like using depth cameras for physical interaction and using TouchDesigner as hub for all sorts of interfaces and technologies.
Artist and director Florence To designs and produces sound and light installations, creating generative motion graphics with a focus on architectural spatial design in site-specific projects. Through working in various disparate architectural environments, she guided her process further into exploring the effects of cognitive and emotional triggers and how different sensory arrangements are experienced within space. In her presentation, Florence will speak about working with typography and characters for Arkheradix, a live feedback performance creating a conversation on a fictional narrative of characters referencing the epistemological use of language.
Markus Heckmann (Technical Director with Derivative) is not only the author of popular TouchDesigner tools like CamSchnappr or the new GPU particle system but also a visual artist and live video performer. He will join us with the newest news, gossip and answers to our most pressing questions about the present and future of TouchDesigner.
We will close the meeting at 23.30 / 13.30 PM, but we will reserve a table in the neighbouring OMEGA Bar for everybody who wants to continue…
