Participants will learn to navigate the creative possibilities of dome geometry and projection systems, developing skills in both 2D and 3D content pipelines. Through hands-on exercises and project-based guidance, students will gain confidence in adapting their work to hemispherical displays, understanding the differences from traditional flat-screen formats, and applying pre-visualization strategies to their projects.

The course emphasizes practical, project-driven learning. Participants will develop their own dome scenes, experimenting with animation, real-time content optimization, and techniques specific to immersive environments. Guidance and feedback from Simon will support the creative process, ensuring that each project progresses from concept to presentation-ready work.

By the end of the course, participants will have a solid understanding of dome projection principles, practical experience with immersive content creation, and the tools to continue developing their own dome-based projects. Whether your goal is to create immersive performances, generative visuals, or interactive experiences, this course equips you with both the conceptual framework and hands-on skills to bring your ideas to life.
