ossia score is a powerful open-source sequencer designed for audio-visual artists and creators working with interactive systems. It allows you to compose and control complex real-time interactions between sound, visuals, lighting, and sensors through an intuitive timeline-based interface.
This course offers an in-depth introduction to ossia score as a creative toolkit for building interactive installations, performances, and generative artworks. Through hands-on examples and live demonstrations, participants will learn how to integrate various media protocols such as OSC, MIDI, DMX, and audio playback across multiple applications and devices.
Led by multimedia developer Sarah Almamoun from Montréal’s Société des Arts Technologiques [SAT], this course bridges technical learning with artistic practice, empowering creators to prototype and perform responsive digital artworks using ossia score.
