Announcing NODE SESSION II – “We got Robots”
The NODE Institute is thrilled to present NODE SESSION II, a follow-up to the inaugural session, on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, starting 19:00 CEST. 🚀 What to Expect
- Format: A curated evening of talks from three innovative voices in real-time media art, generative systems, immersive storytelling — and yes, robots included.
- Venue: The iconic B‑Dome, a 19 m geodesic dome fitted with six 21K Panasonic projectors, a negative-pressure projection surface, and 5.1 surround sound for a fully immersive experience.
🎤 Featured Speakers
- Belçim Yavuz – Interdisciplinary artist blending body movement, media, and space through choreography and interactive environments.
- Tobias Götz (Pfadfinderei) – VJ pioneer unveiling his 360° robotic camera system that pushes image resolution boundaries.
- Amir Bastan – Artist/researcher merging media art, AI, robotics and psychoanalytic theory through projects like The Bunraku Project.
🌀 Open Dome & Robot Playground
After the talks, the dome doors open for attendees to:
- Showcase pre-rendered full‑dome content.
- Interact with Spot, a robot from Austria, via MQTT for real-time data visualization and sonification.
