Laxita Pandey : Nature and Technology : Inspiration vs Destruction
Laxita Pandey is a creative technologist and social designer working with real-time systems, kinetic installations, and responsive environments. As co-founder of Xperiential Design, she collaborates closely with artists to develop interactive works integrating custom electronics, microcontrollers, sensors, and TouchDesigner-based media systems from early conceptual stages. Grounded in social, critical, and participatory design, her practice uses systems thinking to explore how data, sensing, and feedback shape embodied experience. Through a decolonial “ancient-future” methodology, Laxita weaves Indian craft traditions and mythological frameworks into contemporary computation, creating algorithmically alive works that prioritize somatic engagement, collective attunement, and meaningful technological presence.
