Two Immersive Creative Masterclasses out!
Those of you who regularly visit our page may have noticed that these two Creative Masterclasses have been in the making for quite some time. That’s why we’re especially pleased to finally present them to you! But first, allow me to explain why we believe this format is both special and unique—the positive feedback we’ve received from previous editions speaks for itself.
What is a Creative Masterclass?
With this format, we aim to offer the best of both worlds: online learning and real-life experiences. To achieve this, we partner with venues that offer immersive technical setups—environments that are nearly impossible to replicate at home. However, they can be simulated, and that’s exactly what we use to our advantage: taking you on a creative journey that begins in a virtual simulation and culminates in the actual venue.

Concept and Process
While our TouchDesigner and vvvv-based courses are excellent for acquiring technical skills in the shortest possible time, the Creative Masterclasses are designed to guide you through the entire creative process—from initial idea to concept, from realization to final deadline. Along the way, you will certainly learn a lot of technical skills, but the main focus lies in developing a concept and navigating it confidently through all the challenges and compromises required to deliver a real-world result—one that will be presented in an actual venue.
Make no mistake: it’s not enough to simply attend the weekly three-hour sessions. Learning and results won’t magically appear. You’ll need to put in serious work to bring your ideas to life—but you won’t be doing it alone. You’ll be supported by experienced designers and a diverse group of fellow learners, all united by a shared goal: to create captivating, immersive experiences. And if you’re ready to dedicate the time, we’ll guide you to the finish line, where you’ll get to present (and document) your work in an immersive environment that is normally out of reach for most creatives—unless they work for large companies or commercial clients.
We’re strong believers in the power of online learning when it comes to acquiring software skills. In fact, one could argue it often works better than in-person workshops. However, there are two key aspects that online learning alone cannot fully deliver:
Social Interaction

As much as we use social media to connect and bond with people from afar, we’ve also learned that real-life encounters are irreplaceable. By joining a group of learners, you won’t just meet a bunch of talented creatives—you may also find future collaborators who will play a meaningful role in your creative or professional journey. Some may become friends. Others may inspire you more deeply than a thousand perfectly curated (and often intimidating) Instagram posts ever could.
And the best part? You’ll meet these people in person, face-to-face. You’ll share real experiences together. Especially when a group is diverse and brings together people from different places and backgrounds, the value of that exchange is immense. We’ve seen it in past Masterclasses: relationships formed during the course have continued to grow and bear fruit years after the program ended.
Too often, people talk about competitiveness. But we believe competition is a waste of time and energy. Collaboration is what truly empowers us—it brings joy to the work and makes the creative process meaningful. And really, why pursue creative work at all if not for the joy it brings?
The hardships of reality

Now, this may sound paradoxical, but it is through both struggle and joy that we truly learn and grow. Reality is often unforgiving. Many underestimate the challenges involved in delivering a project at large scale and high resolution. Countless factors come into play, and obstacles will appear one after another. But by facing these challenges in a protected, supportive environment—rather than in the cutthroat world of competitive markets—you can gain in a few weeks what might otherwise take years to learn “in the wild.”
Even better: by the end, you’ll have tangible proof that you can deliver real results—something to showcase in your portfolio, in festival applications, and on your CV. These are not just courses. They are creative journeys. And we’re excited to take them with you.
But enough of the wise words.
