What The POP?!

This course is designed to give you an understanding of the life cycle of a multimedia installtion and how POPs can be intetegrated into projects at a commercial, but still artistic, level. It will give you an in-depth walk through of a real world example, The Banyan Tree, produced at a large scale event, showing the process from pitch to completion.

Most of details will be explained in the course video included, but I will follow along with some photos and major points.

Prerequisites

This course is made for those who already know how to operate in TouchDesigner. If you want to follow along please download the project files found in todays’ lesson folder.

CAD knowledge is a plus. It is required to accomplish parts of my process, I will include some samples in the project files for testing purposes. I use Rhino 3D, you can find a link below, where you can try free for 30 days. However any application able to produce obj files will work.
