SUMMARY:Creative Roundtable Leipzig 2025
DESCRIPTION:Artwork by @Theresya_bi\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nOrganised by The NODE Institute and supported by Derivative\, the Creative Roundtable returns to Leipzig for the 2025 edition of Bright Festival Connect — an international collaboration that celebrates creativity as a bridge between cultures and countries. \n\n\n\nThis year\, we look forward to four inspiring talks exploring the intersection of art\, technology\, and space\, and to connecting with both the international and local experience design community for an evening of inspiration\, exchange\, and networking among friendly creatives. \n\n\n\nWith the Eisengiesserei at Westwerk\, Bright has chosen the perfect venue for this gathering — a space that welcomes all who are passionate about visual programming\, interactive installations\, and immersive performances. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n17:30 UHR / 5:30 PM / Jacob Lommatzsch\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nJacob Lommatzsch\, a Leipzig-based lighting and sound technician with a Media Technology degree from HTWK Leipzig\, presents his bachelor’s project: an immersive\, interactive 360° installation created with support from Kunstkraftwerk Leipzig. The work invited audiences to “reach for the stars” through spatial sound and dynamic visuals. In his talk\, Jacob will outline the software and hardware setup\, discuss the technical and creative challenges he faced\, and share the most valuable lessons from the process.instagram.com/tulim.official \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n18:05 UHR / 6:05 PM / Antoine Goldschmidt\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nBrussels-based artist Antoine Goldschmidt creates immersive audiovisual works exploring the interplay of space\, light\, and matter. Trained as an engineer and scenographer\, he is known for using light and technology in projects that engage audiences directly. As founder and artistic director of Magicstreet Studio\, he sculpts and controls light into intense\, contemplative compositions. His installations and audiovisual works have been presented across Europe and internationally at festivals\, museums\, public spaces\, and major cultural events.magicstreet.beinstagram.com/ant.gold \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n18:40 UHR / 6:40 PM / AUSGANG studio\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAUSGANG studio\, led by Alex and Radovan\, creates immersive audiovisual works exploring the interplay between digital and physical realities. Their practice reflects on technological progress\, environmental processes\, and the duality of reality and virtuality\, shaping experiences where time and space are influenced by the strongest medium—digital. By merging these elements\, they transform installation spaces into surprising\, contemplative environments\, inviting visitors to engage with both the physical and digital layers of their work\, and to experience a seamless dialogue between presence and perception.ausgang.techinstagram.com/ausgang.studio \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n19:15 UHR / 7:15 PM / Alex Augier\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nFrench electronic composer and audiovisual artist Alex Augier creates immersive works at the intersection of sound\, visuals\, and space. His practice explores the interplay of audio\, image\, and technology\, shaping multidimensional performances that merge music and visuals into a cohesive\, sensorial language. Using bespoke digital setups—including 3D spatialized sound\, generative visuals\, and modular synthesis—he crafts striking audiovisual experiences. SUMMARY:NODE SESSION I
DESCRIPTION:Organised by The NODE Institute\, and supported by Derivative\, B-dome and PlusPlusOne\, the NODE SESSIONS continue the legacy of the TouchDesigner Roundtable—broadening the focus beyond a single platform to explore the full spectrum of creative software workflows. These sessions serve as a dynamic meeting point for artists\, developers\, and designers passionate about experience design\, creative coding\, and interactive media art. Anyone curious about the future of digital expression—and the minds shaping it—is warmly invited to join. \n\n\n\nOur inaugural session takes place inside the B-dome\, a 19-meter-wide geodesic dome designed for fully immersive 360° experiences. Equipped with a state-of-the-art negative-pressure projection system and six 21K Panasonic projectors\, the dome surrounds visitors with striking visuals and a rich 5.1 surround sound environment. Within this inspiring space\, we’ll hear from a trio of voices in the world of audio-visual performance: \n\n\n\nTarik Barri\, renowned visual performer turned toolmaker\, shares the journey behind co-developing videosync—a live visuals plugin for Ableton—and offers insight into the evolution of his creative process. \n\n\n\nTamara Knapp\, a visual artist and designer\, will share her exploration of the interplay between nature and technology through experimental\, research-driven visuals\, and discuss how she applies this approach in her interdisciplinary teaching. \n\n\n\nLukas Ruoff\, VJ artist and member of the Ungrid collective\, presents his approach to integrating TouchDesigner into the design curriculum at HTW Berlin\, highlighting a recent fullDome project created in collaboration with his students. \n\n\n\nTo conclude\, we warmly invite all meetup attendees in Berlin to showcase their content on the Dome – whether pre-rendered or live! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nticket to join the live session in Berlin:\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nNODE SESSION TICKET :10 – 25 EUR\n\n\n\n\n\nOr watch the stream for free on YouTube:\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nyoutube.com/live/PIiDRwsgtTk\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n19:00 UHR / 7:00 PM / DOORS OPEN\n\n\n\nJoin us early for some good networking and lovely encounters. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n19:45 UHR / 7:45 PM / Yasmin Yael Elias Sanchez\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nYasmin Yael Elias Sanchez\, manager of the BDome in Berlin\, will share the journey of how this unique project—originally conceived and operated for years in Madrid—found its new home in Berlin.
