The NODE Institute partners with Echoes of Earth to bring India its first-ever TouchDesigner Sessions at The Sixth Sense immersive festival in February 2026 in Bengaluru.
Hosted inside a 5 decade old glass factory, this collaboration marks the beginning of a long-term cultural and creative exchange. Curated by The NODE Institute, the program features beginner and advanced TouchDesigner workshops, engaging panel discussions, and deep dives into experience design, data visualization, immersive media, lighting, AI, and live visual performance. Together, we aim to connect India’s creative coding community with the world—building skills, sparking innovation, and opening new possibilities in immersive art and technology.
Three week-long workshops
February 5 – 11
No matter whether you are just getting started with TouchDesigner and want to learn from Bileam in person, or you’re ready to dive deeper into creating (interactive) content for immersive domes and galleries with Simon and Stefan — six days of intensive training with renowned educators from the TouchDesigner community await you.
On the seventh day, you’ll get to experience and discuss your own work and that of fellow participants in real immersive venues. Join these courses not only to learn from the best, but also to connect with like-minded creators from across Asia who are pushing the boundaries of new media art just like you — and who might well become your next collaborators.
Learn the essential building blocks of TouchDesigner — a powerful, flexible platform for new-media art, installations, and audio-reactive visuals. In this beginner course, lead by Bileam Tschepe (aka Elekktronaut) you’ll explore the core operators, create dynamic visuals from the ground up, and build a clear foundation for approaching interactive and immersive projects.

Learn how to create immersive content for dome environments with TouchDesigner in this hands-on workshop led by Simon Rydén (aka Supermarket Sallad). You’ll explore the creative possibilities and technical challenges of dome projection, develop skills in 2D and 3D content pipelines, and build a foundation for designing your own immersive, audio-reactive, and interactive dome projects.

Explore the creation of immersive audiovisual content for gallery and festival environments with Stefan Kraus (aka MXZEHN). In this workshop, you’ll develop your own compositions, experiment with generative, audio-driven visuals, and learn how to adapt your work to physical spaces. Through hands-on exercises you’ll gain practical skills and a solid foundation for designing immersive experiences.
