1 lesson at 3 hours in English Language live via Zoom, or as recording
Recordings are available and accessible for at least one year after purchase.
Large-scale TouchDesigner projects demand structure and efficient collaboration. In this intensive 3-hour workshop, system developer Denis Akopov introduces a professional workflow for using Git-style version control in TouchDesigner. Participants will discover how to keep projects organized, track changes reliably, and collaborate with others without overwriting or losing work.
Through live demonstration and practical examples, Denis will walk you through:
- Applying Git workflows to creative coding and live production environments
- Structuring TouchDesigner projects for version control
- Managing contributions from multiple team members
- Handling conflicts and maintaining stable project builds
- Centralizing project updates across multiple installations
You’ll receive example repositories and a recommended workflow, along with a clear view of the challenges involved. Setting up such a workflow requires discipline and getting it right—so that it supports, rather than restricts, your creative freedom. By the end of the session, you’ll see how adopting Git practices can dramatically improve your productivity, flexibility, and ability to collaborate—whether you’re working solo, in a studio team, or across multiple venues.
Recordings, shared files, and support materials will be provided, so you can revisit the workflow and apply it directly to your own projects.
